We understand it can be difficult to find the right tour that matches both your ability, your equipment, your fitness and paddling experience and most of all what tour you’re more likely to enjoy. We have something for the needs of every paddler.
Each of our tours are described in full and also graded to help you choose the right one for you. All our tours are planned, prepared and led by British Canoeing qualified leaders with exceptional knowledge and experience of the locations. All our leaders carry essential safety and group equipment on tours to ensure you are in the best of care.

Tours are designed based on many factors such as parking, escape routes for weather and tidal changes and best value in terms of length, scenery, points of interest.
CIRCULAR – These routes tend to start and finish at the same point looping around the edges of a loch or obvious route.
LINEAR – Linear tours are designed to handrail the coastline or follow a river starting from point A finishing at point B where a car shuttle is often used to retrieve cars from the meeting point. Linear tours can also be OUT and BACK following the same route.
HOPPERS – Visiting points of interest on various islands or lochs within a tour returning back to the starting point.
TRAVERSE – Tours tend to be focused on a slow journey, longer in duration, higher in planning complexity and include portaging kit from lochs across land to another loch journeying from point A finishing at point B.
CIRCUIT – A circuit route is designed to explore and stop off at several points along a route navigating along the way. Can include an overnight camp, food stop or hike to local point of interest. Think of this tour as ‘micro adventures’ joined up in one tour.
ADVENTURE SUP – Hiking or biking with kit to explore lochs and lochans in more remote inaccessible places. These tours are more physically demanding and require more specialist equipment such as trolleys, carts, carry bags and lightweight I-sups.
LIVING-WILD – Exploring wild places which requires an overnight stay by wild camp, using a MBA bothy or bivvy camp. True adventuring to a location and back.
MICRO ADVENTURE – Micro adventures are short duration, low cost paddle adventures much closer to home and are designed to be highly immersive.
We recommend you have attended an Intro To SUP course with ourselves or undertake lessons with a recognised provider and can evidence this.

PFD’s and Quick Release belts (SUP Specific) are also mandatory on all of our tours. We provide these FOC.
All personal equipment must be in working order and will be checked by our team prior to departing.
A medical questionnaire and booking form MUST be completed prior to the tour for our safe systems for work.
